Which Minecraft versions are supported?+

Vortex supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.8.9 with OptiFine and versions 1.16.5 through 1.21.11 with Fabric.

Do I need to own Minecraft?+

Yes. You need a legitimate Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition.

Can I uninstall it later?+

Yes. Open Windows Settings, choose Apps, find Vortex Launcher, and select Uninstall.
